Marzine

Living in downtown Chicago and walking to and from work for the last 10 years has introduced me to the issue of homlessness. Chicago's Coallition for the Homeless estimates the number to be in the range of 40,000 people.  There are probably as many reasons for homelessness as there are people.  When we list the reason (mental illness, job loss, drug use, domestic abuse, etc),  we can lose the fact that each of these people are individuals.  With their permission, I'm interviewing the people I meet on the streets of Chicago so I can get to know them.  Meet Marzine .
